Alloway Baptist Church
Alloway Township, Salem County

Organized in 1821 and built in 1866. A large brick meetinghouse with
a small cemetery adjacent. It is quite similar in plan to the Lutheran
church in Friesburg, built a hundred years earlier.
A portion of the walls remain from the
earlier building, erected from bricks made on the site in 1820.
