Christ Church
Bordentown, Burlington County

This
Episcopal church is the direct result of the efforts of Bishop Doane,
whose influence shaped most of New Jersey's Anglican churches
in the mid-nineteenth century. The original church was built in 1837,
enlarged later, then this fine Gothic Revival building erected in 1879.
The cemetery at the rear backs up to the river and the tower can be
seen by travelers on Interstate 295.
