Methodist Episcopal Church
Columbia, Warren County

There
are conflicting records for Columbia; Snell ( 1881)
says the only church in town is a Baptist church, but a later
publications
says there is a Methodist Episcopal church there, built in 1840. There
is no identification on the church, but the images in the stained
glass
seem to indicate Methodist. Clearly, this church was not built in 1840,
but in the 1890s or somewhat later, I believe.
It now serves as
a residence.
