Cookstown
Methodist Episcopal Church
Cookstown, Burlington County
The
Cookstown church is a small brick building erected in 1869. The congregation,
according to Woodward & Hageman's History of the county,
was organized "comparatively early," and this is its second church.
There was a
Cookstown circuit at one time, and this was the principal preaching
station.
