First
Baptist Church
Dover, Morris County

The Baptist congregation which built this small vernacular building,
now a child care center, was organized in 1892-3 by pastors from
Netcong and Dover. The cornerstone identifies 1895 as the date of
construction for the First Baptist church.
It sits at the corner of Richards Avenue and Union Street.
