   Photographic Inventory

    St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church
    East Millstone, Somerset County

The church was enlarged in 1870 and now has aluminum siding; the belfry/tower was originally considerably taller and quite interesting, and the building had two entrances flanking the tower, so there have been major modifications since the early part of this century. It is amazing how relatively few changes can alter th character of a bulding so completely.
The congregation was formed in 1864 and this building was erected the following year.
