Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian Church
East Orange, Essex County

The form
of the church, which was founded in 1872, has not changed much since
it was erected in 1888-89, but the texture is now smooth aluminum
instead
of the original singles and clapboards and siding. In the background
is the new Elmwood Avenue Presbyterian church, built in 1910. I really
like the way the newer church has echoed the form of the tower and
belfry.
