Ferry
Street Methodist Episcopal
Church
East Orange, Essex County

When I photographed this church in 2001 there was a large vacant lot
adjacent to the church; when I returned early in 2006, the lot is still
vacant and the church continues to be nicely maintained. It was built
about 1880, but I know nothing of the congregation. I imagine the left
tower would have had a spire at one time, and the windows along the
side of the building are an unusual feature. Quite an interesting building.
