Eldora
Methodist Episcopal
Church
Eldora, Cape May County

The Methodist congregation
in Eldora was organized in 1860 and built their first church in the
same year. This is a simple meetinghouse with little adornment, and
not dissimilar from a county schoolhouse or residence. It can be
found across the road from the larger, more stylish church that replaced
it in 1883, just off Route 550
