Freehold Reformed Church
Freehold, Monmouth County

This congregation was organized in 1842, the year the church was built.
It was undoubtedly renovated at a later point, as the rounded windows
and other details are not characteristic of the 1840s in New jersey.
Unfortunately, it is now encased in aluminum, which eliminates the fine
detailing that was likely present in the cornice and on the tower and
steeple.
