St James' Church
Hackettstown, Warren County

This church has been so beautifully maintained I mistook it for a contemporary
building, in spite of its design. In fact, it was built in 1859, the
year the congregation was organized. It is a wooden board-and-batten
church, very much in the manner of architect Richard Upjohn, who might
have been the architect.
