Reformed Church of Harlingen
Harlingen, Somerset County

This is a little wider than the Greek Revival church in Griggstown,
the steeple is different and some small details about the entrance,
but otherwise it was obviously built to the same plan, nine years later.
The congregation was organized in 1727, and the minister here was one
of the major antagonists in the dispute between the traditionalists
and the American party that contested governance of the Dutch Reformed
Church.
