Saint Paul's Episcopal Church
Hoboken, Hudson County
Saint Paul's was organized between 1832 and 1835. In 1871 the congregation
built this large stone church on Hudson Street, between 8th and 9th.
1871 was the year the Stevens family commissioned another Episcopal
church, Holy Innocents. Saint Paul's is now an upscape apartment building
known at The Abbey, and Episcopal services are conducted at Trinity
Church on Washington Street.
