St.
Catherine's Roman Catholic Church
Holmdel,
Monmouth County

St. Catherine’s
was erected on a donated lot in 1879, a year after its organization.
The wooden-frame building is 25’ x 70’ and the
siding is board-and-batten. It appears to be virtually unchanged
since it was built. It was replaced by a newer church in
1975, when it was donated to the Holmdel Historical Society. Its condition is deteriorating.
