Bergen Baptist Church
Jersey City, Hudson County

This
exceedingly graceful steeple can be seen from blocks around its
location at Madison and Clinton Avenues in the Bergen section of
Jersey
City. The Bergen Baptist church was organized in 1870 and this building
erected about 1890. The congregation later merged with the Salem
Baptist church and that is how the congregation is now known.
