The Presbyterian Church of Lawrenceville
Lawrenceville, Mercer County

The congregation was organized in 1698, making it one of the older
Presbyterian congregations in the state. The church was erected in 1764
and rebuilt in 1833 and 1853. I am uncertain if anything from the original
structure remains, but the cupola is very similar to that on the old
Episcopal church in Shrewsbury
and the pattern of round arch windows over flat/lintels on the lower
course was an early Georgian tradition.
