Bethel AME church
Madison, Morris County

 

The building was erected in 1885 and extensively rebuilt in 1905. It is essentially a large meetinghouse with later elements added. I have found no publication which treats its history even in a cursory manner.
     From an old photograph, it apperas the church has not been altered much since 1905.
