An unusual combination of towers, dormers, portholes,
and entrances grace this
late century Methodist church. It is constructed of red
brick and was erected in
1892. The congregation was organized as a daughter church
of the Methodist
congregation in Plainfield in 1885. It is not known as the Covenant
Methodist
Church.
