Methodist Episcopal Church of Papacy
Peapack-Gladstone, Somerset County

I can never be sure whether I'm in Peapack or Gladstone and the change
in the name of this church, from the Peapack ME to the United Methodist
Church of Gladstone hasn't helped. Although clad in aluminum, there
are places on the pediment and the belfry that retain their original
wooden detailing. The church was organized in 1839 and the building,
although remodeled and extended in 1859, dates to its founding.
