St.
Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church
Port Elizabeth, Cumberland County

A visitor to Port Elizabeth looking for this Roman Catholic church
won't find it, for it was moved to Goshen in 1879. The congregation
was
organized here in 1843, but the building is older than the congregation;
it was built as an academy about 1810 and renovated for religious services
in 1845.
