Rockaway Methodist Episcopal Church
Rockaway, Morris County

Look behind the two projecting wings (which are newer than the rest
of the church) and the Chippendale entry arch and you have a traditional
Wren-Gibbs design.
The building dates to 1873
and
the congregation was organized in 1833.
The theater company which occupies
it has clearly not spent much money on maintenance, but they were
attempting to raise money (hopefully to stabilize the building) when these
photographs were taken a year ago.
