Reformed Church of South Bound Brook
South Bound Brook, Somerset County

Bound Brook and South Bound Brook were settled late in the seventeenth
century. This is probably the third church on the site, built in 1846,
to a design that is repeated in Harlingen, Lamington, Pluckemin, Chester,
Cokesbury, Whitehouse, Mt. Holly, Colts Neck, and Raritanamong
others. Similar earlier Greek Revival churches were built in Princeton,
Cranbury and Griggstown.
