First Presbyterian Church
Tuckerton, Ocean County

Founded
in 1859, perhaps one hundred fifty years after the town was founded
by Quakers, this interesting building combines some Gothic
and Greek Revival elements. Most unusual, is has was appears to be
an added aisle on the left side, which presents a "false front." While
the siding is now aluminum, the unusual dentils under the eaves
appear to be original.
