St Mary's Roman Catholic Church
Wharton, Morris County

Architect Jeremiah O'Rourke, who designed several other Catholic churches
in the state, built this large stone building in 1872. It is marked
by some fine stained glass windows and an exceptional open-timbered
roof supports. The congregation was organized in 1845.
